LOL man.

never forget white people did nothing first neither the best, they sleep and eat false propaganda,

Ugh, why the shit does that have to turn into a race thing? Why does EVERYTHING have to turn into a race thing?

because white people have made sure that everything is about race
as proved by the fact that when you say explorer, you think of a bunch of white guys walking the world and discovering it ~exotic wonders~ even though Zheng He travelled through Asia, to the Middle East, and even East Africa. But you’d likely never heard of him before.
Same reason you never heard of Ahmad Ibn Fadlan, an Arab traveller who, as early as the 10th century, went to the Volga area for diplomatic reasons. He wrote about it, much as Marco Polo would do later for his own travels, and is one of our sources on what viking were like (and by all accounts, he wrote about them more accurately than western scholars of the same period did)
Oh, or Ibn Battuta who travelled throughout Africa long before europeans did, and even went to Europe himself.
And that’s just some example of Muslim medieval travel writers
Everything is about race because white people keep telling everyone that their race is the only one who every got anything done.

i have heard of precisely zero non-european explorers ever in my life, and that fucking sucks. this exhibit is amazing and i need to learn more.

That boat is a frickin aircraft carrier comparatively. Holy crap. And no. Never heard a peep.

Zhenghe went to over 40 countries in Asia and Africa and probably went even further, but I didn’t encounter that in history books before. He brought gifts from China to every country he went to and everyone loved him. It was just like “Hey, I’m here with a water-helicarrier and a gift,” and the kings of every country were lilke “holy shit son well here have a giraffe.” There are paintings depicting him leading a giraffe as well. Check him out guys, he’s really cool

That is so awesome. Fuck western history. This is the real shit.

We know why.

Don’t forget Charlie Sheen. He’s been arrested for domestic violence at least six times and shot a woman. With a gun. And he’s still got a career.

Sean Penn tied Madonna to a chair and beat her. Fuck him. Fuck all of them.

Michael Fassbender
Matthew Fox
John Lennon
Paul McCartney
Ringo too I’m pretty sure
Phil Spector, although he’s now in jail for killing a lady he beat on Ronnie Spector for years and still got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Axl Rose
Vince Neil
Sean Penn
Charlie Sheen
Jim Morrison tried to set fire to his girlfriend
Stephen Segal
Tommy Lee
Ozzy Osbourne
Mickey Rourke
Bill Murray
Gary Busey
Tom Sizemore
Christian Slater
James Caan
Josh Brolin
Edward Furlong
I could go on.
The point isn’t that the men on the left don’t deserve everything bad they have coming to them.  The point is where the fuck is all the outrage when the men on the right do it.  So many of our pop culture heroes are abusers and nobody seems to care.
Like, even if we’re gonna stick to the NFL, Ben Roethlisberger patiently sat out his six game suspension for rape and continued on with his career with little outrage.
If we’re really going to care now about ostracizing perpetrators of domestic violence, we got a lotta slack to pick up.

While, i get the point of this post….neither Ray or Chris brown are “the face” of domestic violence. Both of them are praised and worshiped and their actions dismissed because they’re cute or play a sport. It always “well he didn’t mean too” or “well she started it” “well why does he have to be a role model?”

I have to disagree with that statement of them being dismissed for being cute or that they play a sport. Chris Brown made one single mistake of hitting his then girlfriend. Ever since then, he has been a target by social and regular media. Every time there is an incident, Chris is brought as an example of wrongdoing. Let’s look at the facts: Chris Brown is a also a victim of domestic violence. He lived in a home where his stepfather constantly beat and belittled his mother. The violence was so terrible, that he wet the bed into his teen years. He isn’t considered a role model or anything. They consider him a monster. They push aside the fact that he was actually still very much a kid when he hit his girlfriend back then. But when someone who is very much an adult like Charlie Sheen commits these types of crimes, he gets absolutely no crap about it. Every time there is an incident, his name is not brought up. But Chris’s name is and he always forced to relive a moment in his past that he has apologized for time and time again. As for Ray Rice, his time is coming. No one is excusing him for anything. As time goes on they will bring up his name with incidents that have nothing to do with him. They will continue to belittle and berated him. He is not a role model and will not be treated like one. But the ones on this list, will never suffer for their crimes. And they are the faces of domestic violence, because that is how they will be painted in media for the rest of their lives.

I’m not disagreeing with the post, i agree that there is a problem with always using black people and the white people never get talked about, however men in general always get their actions dismissed in domestic violence white or not. Turn on any news channel and all they talk about with Ray Rice is how she was stupid for marrying him, she shouldn’t have spat at him, he’s just a football player so stop dragging him into other politics etc etc. Chris Brown the other 364 days a year he’s not brought up for an example is always being worship or his actions excuses because “he was young”, bullshit they can a rot in hell as far as i’m concerned. My father was physically, sexually and emotionally abused as a child too but he didn’t go beating his wife either, so this troubled background thing as an excuse for domestic violence is crap. You’re telling me that his troubled background only kicked in for one incident ever? Sorry but i’m not giving him or anyone else a pass just because they’re media targets.
and YES you are a role model, whether you like it or not, when you agree to celebrity status, you also agree to be in the public’s eye 24/7 and will be viewed as a role model.

I don’t know what you have seen, but I have yet to see where Chris Brown ever been worshiped after this incident. Chris Brown gets the 3rd degree and the incident doesn’t have anything to do with him. He has never got excused for that one incident because he was young. They barely even acknowledge that fact. As for your father, I am sorry that happened to him. But just because your father didn’t beat his wife, doesn’t mean anything. All children who grow up in those environments react differently. Just like with rape. Some woman can’t bare the thought of sex or have contact with males after being violated, while other turn to drugs and constant sex. It varies. Some children grow up and become the abused, while other become the abusers. As for Chris, I doubt he has hit a woman before his then girlfriend. What other relationship has he had before her? And was it a serious relationship? It’s not like Chris was walking acting out. We weren’t there, so we don’t know what exactly happened that night. But nobody is excusing his behavior. He doesn’t excuse his behavior. But that one incident is always being brought up and they always target him. As for Ray Rice, I have no words. He owned up to his behavior and is serving his consequence. They aren’t given a pass. And they shouldn’t be. But the fact remains, they will forever be the faces of domestic violence because of one thing that happened in their past. That’s the truth.

Yeah, sorry. i’m not hopping on this chris brown is a victim train. As i said before, i don’t disagree with the original point, my added point is black men don’t get a free pass just because they’re media targets. I don’t care if it’s one incident or twenty.
